LOGSTOR is a leading supplier of pre‐insulated pipe systems for energy‐efficient transportation of liquids and gases for district heating and cooling, marine and industrial purposes as well as oil and gas pipelines. Our systems consist of flexible and rigid pipes, joints, fittings and surveillance. Inventing the pre-insulated pipe technology more than 50 years ago, we have delivered more than 185,000 km of pre‐insulated pipes. We are headquartered in Løgstør, Denmark with subsidiaries in Austria, China, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Russia, Sweden and Switzerland as well as a network of agents and sales offices. Our nine production facilities are situated in Denmark, Poland, Sweden, Finland, Romania and China, with supplementary mobile production units currently set up in Canada and Indonesia. LOGSTOR employs approximately 1,500 people.

For our team based near Amsterdam/Schiphol Airport we are looking for you:

Junior Account Manager (f/m/i)

Workplace: LOGSTOR Nederland BV – Debbemeerstraat 21 – Hoofddorp

 

Your tasks:

  • Direct customer support, steadily expansion of established clientele as well as new customer acquisition including sales negotiations

  • Calculation and creating bill of quantities out of pipe line drawings

  • Creating tenders in SAP

  • Maintaining customer relation management system (CRM)

  • Organization and management of rent equipment for installation of welding joints

  • Close cooperation and good transfer of all information to customer service representatives

  • Market research and monitoring including reporting to Sales Director

  • Other administrative work

     



Our Requirements:

  • Secondary vocational education (Middelbaar beroeps onderwijs) in technique/completed education (commercial or technical) and/or polytechnic studies (Bachelor degree)

  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a sales or account management environment, preferentially in technical industries, district heating, piping, sanitary or heating

  • Good technical knowledge and the ability to read technical drawings

  • Good English language skills (business fluent)

  • You are a person who drives for succeed with the ability to overcome obstacles and talent for building relationships with good communications skills

  • High sales affinity, target driven, motivated and ready to learn

  • Reliable team-player and a positive “can-do” attitude

  • Your working style is organized, structured and based on a good time management

Description

To expand our activity and meet our expectations within export sales and development of new markets, we are searching for an Area Sales Manager with reference to VP Export & Distribution, Sales.

The Area Sales Manager will manage the sales of LOGSTOR’s products (pre-insulated pipe systems) for District Energy, prioritized Industrial applications and services for selected export markets (where LOGSTOR does not have a local sales unit). These include ensuring consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and key sales initiatives, as well as strategies and action plans to improve short- and long-term sales and earnings.

Main tasks

  • Development of market plans to ensure revenue growth in LOGSTOR’s products and services

  • The customers’ point of contact from the project identification, through the sales and tendering phases until technical and commercial closing of orders

  • Direct responsibility for the selected export markets

  • Collects information about the market and the future development of District Energy and Industrial applications in selected export markets.

  • Provides technical advice in designing district heating networks, assisted by LOGSTOR tech. design team and product management

  • Education of clients by holding programs/seminars to promote new and existing products, developing education concept in co-operation with LOGSTOR Academy

  • Provides quotations in co-operation with Customer Service and local LOGSTOR representative

  • Handling marketing issues together with Group marketing team

  • Follow up on customer satisfaction

  • Making records of and reporting the sales activities and opportunities in CRM

Your qualifications

  • Higher technical and/or commercial degree

  • 5-10 years of experience in the similar job position

  • Experience in international sales and project execution.

  • Sales management experience is an advantage

  • Fluent in English

  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

    Travelling         

    You should expect 80-120 travel days a year linked to sales activities, primarily in Europe.

    The positon can be placed at one of LOGSTOR’s local offices, or home office based.
