In May 2015, LOGSTOR A/S began delivering preinsulated supply pipes for the distribution of ice water, well water and various chemicals to the Danmarks Protein project in Videbæk.

This is a large-scale project with a short timeframe, requiring pipes for fitting indoors and out. Initially, LOGSTOR A/S has started delivering pipes for installation on a roof, where they are positioned on a 1-metre-high pipe holder.
When it comes to choosing pipes for industrial purposes, the decision is often quite tough: which solution should we choose, and who should we call on to execute it? In this case, Arla Food was in no doubt. In the same way as other food industry players, Arla Food makes particularly high demands on quality, and is happy to choose the safe option; in other words, the company demands quality, confidence and perfection – all requirements that LOGSTOR has no trouble accommodating. This is one of the reasons why LOGSTOR was awarded this commission ahead of several competitors.
The project involves the use of black, seamless pipes for steam, as well as stainless pipes supplied by the customer for insulation. Finally, the project required delivery of casing joints to connect the pipes. A different joint solution was suggested for this project, but Arla Food insisted on a complete solution from LOGSTOR A/S.
Because, as the customer put it, “… we want what we’re used to. We’ve worked with LOGSTOR for many years and have full confidence in them and their projects. LOGSTOR is quality assurance of our project”.
