C-PiPe® 120 DW

The LOGSTOR C-PiPe® 120 DW is a deep water HT thermal insulation solution for offshore pipelines able to sustain any water depths. The system is developed for a mobile plant, optimal logistic and rapid production method. It can be installed with any pipe-lay method.

Product description

  • Steel inner pipe without AC Coating (FBE optional)
  • Installable by reeling or S-lay
  • Two-layer insulation of Flexilon RS-3173 and RS-3060 cast alloy insulation
  • Insulation thickness 15 to 100 mm
  • U-value between 2.0 - 15.0 W/m2K
  • Lambda value 0.186 W/mK
  • Operation temperature up to 120°C (135°C in test)
  • System can be used at any water depth
  • Anode protection system (when required)

Coating system - main features

  • LOGSTOR C-PiPe system uses the Rosehill polymer alloys combining the processing advantages and toughness of polyurethanes with the temperature resistance and adhesion of epoxies in one single application
  • The system offers high insulation performance comparable to multi layer PP systems
  • It can be installed using all pipe-laying methods, including reeling
  • The insulation is moulded to the pipe ensuring fast production process with precise thickness tolerance
  • Cutback shape tailored to the exact field joints requirements
  • The same material is used on the field joint and the bends, fittings etc. eliminating all interface issues and ensuring end-to-end protection
  • Our plant is designed to be mobile, and can be set-up at any relevant project location
