Description
A complete T-EWJoint consists of:
1. T-shoe
2. Weld strips
3. Venting plugs
4. Weld plugs
5. Staples to fix weld strips
6. Terminal protection
The joint is delivered packed in PE-foil
Accessories 2-4 are delivered separately in a plastic bucket, containing 2 weld strips.
Staples (5) are ordered separately.
Max. temperature during transport and storage: 40 °C.
Application
T-joint for foaming used to branch perpendicular to the main pipe where the main pipe as well as the branch pipe belong to the preinsulated bonded TwinPipe system.
The T-EWJoint is welded with EWJoint welds strip on the main pipe and branch pipe.
The T-shoe is cut longitudinally and then it is installed on the main pipe and the branch and finally it is extrusion welded.
Foam holes are sealed with weld plugs.
