All hot tapping valves have a hexagon spindle and a hexagon plug.
Application
Hot tapping valves are used to establish branches on pipelines in operation.
Max. pressure closed valve 16 bar. Operating pressure after establishment of branch: 25 bar.
Please note that reinforcement of the main pipe may be necessary, cf. LOGSTOR Design Manual.
When the branch pipe is a steel pipe, it is required to weld fixing bars on both sides of the branch pipe in the T-joint.
