With the purpose of reducing the complexity of our global price and discount structure, we will introduce a new pricelist, which will become effective for orders received from January 1^st 2019. The level of gross prices will be reduced compared to the prices in the existing price list, followed by an adjustment in the structure of discounts.

We believe that the reduction of the gross prices and discounts will be of mutual benefit for our customers and us. It will improve transparency with focus on the actual net price, and less on the size of the discount.

Hopefully, it will be easier for our customers to work with the price list and to calculate the total price for the pre-insulated pipe systems for their projects. Through simplicity and transparency, we will also contribute to and strengthen our common basis for cooperation and partnership.

Together with the simplification of the price and discount structure, it is also necessary with a minor adjustment of our prices. This adjustment is mainly driven by higher costs for transport, electricity and wages.

The prices for our four main raw materials continue to be on a high level, and their pricing is sensible to global and regional influences. The on-going trade war between USA and China, Brexit and scarcity of manpower in some areas create insecurity about the development in prices for raw materials and costs in 2019, and it cannot be excluded that it might lead to further adjustments of prices during 2019.
