Avoid formation of condensation – a well-known problem
Insulation of cold pipes has always been quite a challenge because the steam penetrates into the insulation system, partly through the insulation material and outer jacket and partly through the joints. Under the right temperatures the steam starts to condense as water, which results in energy loss caused by reduced insulation power and finally it can lead to corrosion in the media pipe. A well-known example is cold pipes with significant ice formations in the insulation and on the outer jacket.

Pre-insulated pipes solve the problem LOGSTOR pre-insulated pipe systems solve all problems such as energy loss, formation of condensation and accumulation of humidity once and for all.  LOGSTOR pre-insulated pipe systems are watertight and there are no formation of condensation or accumulation of humidity. The watertight jacket protects the insulation against damage from damp and the medium pipe against corrosion, resulting in increased use of LOGSTOR pre-insulated pipe systems within the market for large-scaled cooling systems, based on ammonia, brine and water.

Effective hanging
Pipe supports are fitted outside the jacket, and not on the carrier pipe in order to avoid damaged insulation around the supports resulting in energy loss. Furthermore the placing of the supports prevents humidity in penetrating the insulation.

Strong and solid
The combination of the pressure-resisted polyurethane foam and the solid PE-jacket ensures a high mechanical impact in order to resist pressure.

Easy to clean
The smooth surface of the PE-jackets tolerates ordinary cleaning materials and makes the pre-insulated pipe systems from LOGSTOR Industry easy to clean.

Adapts the surroundings
The pre-insulated pipe systems can be delivered with a black or white PEH-jacket.

Extensive product programme
LOGSTOR Industry offers a complete product program with carrier pipe and shrink sleeves adjusted to the specific operating parameter. The pipe system is easy to install, it has a long lifetime, and the insulated system is applicable for media temperatures within the area of - 200°C to +250°.

Effective and environment-friendly insulation
Pre-insulated pipe systems from LOGSTOR Industry are manufactured with freon-free foam and therefore not negatively affecting the ozone layer. The environmentally friendly insulation is maintenance-free and the insulation qualities are unique with a thermal conductivity value (lambda value) below 0.027 W/m°C. The effective insulation reduces the energy consumption and consequently the costs in connection with green taxes. At the same the problems by insulating cold and hot pipe are solved.
